Annie was born and raised in Glasgow and lives in the North East with her son where she has done for most of her life. Being a proud Glaswegian she loves the diversity and culture that the city has to offer.
For the last 12 years Annie has been a food retail manager, for one of the UK’s leading brands. During her time in this role, Annie has worked in various locations throughout the city building rapport easily with colleagues, and in return gaining trust, support and respect.
Annie is passionate, with drive and determination as shown during the General Election in May 2015 where she campaigned tirelessly, as the Scottish Conservative and Unionist candidate for Glasgow North East. One year later she was elected to represent the city in which she was born and bred, as a Conservative MSP for Glasgow in May 2016.
